About The Burgundy Box

The Burgundy Box is a recording studio run out of Lexington, Kentucky by music producer Austin Jones, offering a full range of professional audio services including song production, studio time, and mixing. From radio-ready tracks with a full band to stripped-down acoustic recordings, Austin works closely with each artist to shape the song’s production to capture their vision.

This recording studio is equipped with a Pearlman TM47 microphone, an upright piano, and a selection of in-house instruments including bass, acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard, banjo, and a variety of unique percussion elements. Additional gear is available as needed to ensure every session is tailored to the project, along with industry-standard plugins from companies like Universal Audio, Izotope, Arturia, Goodhertz, Waves, Fab Filter, and Slate Digital. There also also enough inputs to accommodate live drum recordings.

Whether he’s playing every instrument on a track or simply offering some seasoned guidance from the engineer’s chair, Austin tailors his approach to meet each artist where they are.
